I am writing to you on behalf of [redacted].

In 2019 with the rising level of concern about climate change we looked at the work being done by NHS Foundation Trusts in Yorkshire on sustainability. It was good to learn that some Foundation Trusts are doing a lot of productive work in making their work more sustainable.

I have looked for information on your CCG website but cannot identify information about Sustainable Development Management Plans.

I would like to ask your CCG the following three questions.

• Do you have a Sustainable Development Management Plan? If so is it available?

Here at NHS Sheffield CCG we are currently finalising our plan which we are hoping to present to Governing Body in March 2020. Papers for Governing Body can be accessed here: https://www.sheffieldccg.nhs.uk/about-us/GB-meetings.htm.

• Do you have a senior staff member responsible for Sustainable Development?

Our Accountable Officer has overall responsibility for sustainable development – she is supported by the Director of Delivery, Care Outside of Hospital.

• Do you have a plan for engaging those working with the CCG in Sustainable Development?

We have developed an action plan as part of our management plan.
