I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would be interested in any information held by your organisation regarding questions 1 to 5 as highlighted below. If you need further clarification please contact me by email.

Questions:

1. What are the current contracts relating to ‘transport’ for your organisation (including patient transport and ancillary transport services)?

Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) Patient Transport Services (‘PTS’) and 999 and Emergency Care Practitioner (‘ECP’, part of the 999 contract)

Premier Care Direct (‘PCD’)

2. What is the duration period of each contract?

YAS PTS - 2017-2022 (5 years)

PCD – 2017-2022 (5 years)

YAS 999 and ECP – 2019-2020 (1 year)

3. Which providers are linked to these transport contracts?

YAS

PCD

4. What is your overall spend within the Yorkshire region for transport services?

We only commission for Sheffield CCG. The total value of the contracts we commission is £26,423,052

5. Further to question 4 we would like to know what the individual transport contract values are for your transport services within the Yorkshire region?

YAS 999 and ECP -  £20,328,744 and £1,528,334 respectively

YAS PTS -  £3,441,145

PCD - £1,124,829

The above figures reflect indicative activity based on current invoicing, however the final amounts paid to providers may fluctuate depending on activity that takes place.
