This is an FOI request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, with respect to the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) within your CCG.

FOI request:

1. Which provider(s) do you use for NEPTS journeys?

Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) for Patient Transport Services and Premier Care Direct for Renal patients transport. Acute Trusts may use different providers to transport Sheffield patients but you would need to contact the Acute Trusts directly.

2. If you use a single provider, do they cover all of your journeys, or do you cover some in-house? What is the approximate percentage split of journeys by the different providers you use?

YAS cover all NEPTS except transport for Renal patients – the Renal Transport contract is held by Doncaster CCG to which we are an associate and is carried out by Premier Care Direct.
