Who are the providers for:

1. Business intelligence software that allows your care organisation to visualise key performance criteria such as managing costs and practice quality

Sheffield CCG has an in-house Business Intelligence team in which we use Microsoft products and an Oracle data warehouse.

2. Data viewing system between GP practices in your CCG

GP practices in Sheffield use TPP Systm1 and Emis. Sheffield CCG does not commission a solution to enable cross viewing.

3. Data viewing system between GP practices in your CCG and those in other CCGs

Sheffield CCG does not commission this.

4. Data viewing system between GP practices in your CCG and trusts

Sheffield CCG facilitate the function of data sharing between GP practices in Sheffield and provider Trusts for direct care, but we do not commission or mandate this.

5. What are the start and ending dates for the contracts for the above systems?

Microsoft and Oracle are rolling contracts. Power BI expires May 2020.

6. What are the annual costs for maintenance, licensing and other costs for these systems?

GP systems are paid for by NHSE and are not commissioned by the CCG.

NHS England purchased a licence of 1500 Microsoft licences for use by the CCG and GP practices. There are currently no costs to the CCG unless we exceed the number of prepaid licences.

Power BI are purchased directly by the CCG through a procurement exercise. Currently the cost of a PowerBI licence is £3,154.80 for 40 users.
