My name is [redacted] and I'm a writer for [redacted]. I'm writing to submit a FOI request, requesting information on access to parent planning services for LGBTQ+ people within this CCG. I am looking for the data on the following.

Q1. How many LGBTQ+ couple have sought IVF through the NHS in the last 10 years?

Q2. Please break this down by couples which are m/m, f/f/ trans and non binary

Q3. How many LGBTQ+ couples have been through IVF in the last 10 years?

NHS Sheffield CCG does not hold the information you have requested. You will need to contact our provider Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (sth.foi@nhs.net). The Assisted Conception Unit are the gatekeepers and they would determine eligibility for fertility treatment, the CCG makes the decision on whether or not exceptional funding is available for fertility treatment.
